of Work

Designing Credentials for Equitable Economic Mobility

Credentials at community colleges and universities alike should result in economic mobility for all students, regardless of racial or economic background. Drawing on program-level data, alumni voices, and practitioner insights, EES helps policymakers ensure credentials benefit both individuals and communities.

Inclusive and Transformational Higher Education Reform

We believe race and family income should never determine who gets access to higher education — or to the careers and economic opportunities that follow. An inclusive change process is the linchpin for achieving equitable solutions for college level and state-level reforms. EES studies “the how'' of transformational change in higher education.

College Math Reform

Improved and equitable outcomes in college math can transform students’ college and career trajectories, advancing economic mobility for more individuals. EES studies instructional and structural changes that can improve outcomes in college math, and ways to scale effective strategies.
